I am very picky when it comes to sunglasses and I have to try them on. Not only that but they can’t cost more than $20. Sunglass Warehouse has a ginormous assortment of sunglasses in all shapes and sizes and the site is laid out to make it easy to find the style you are looking for. The hard part is narrowing your choices down to just one! I looked for myself first because I thought about getting some blue tinted sunglasses but then realized I bought some in April so I didn’t NEED glasses so I continued to shop but had my husband pick out a pair for us to review, courtesy of Sunglass Warehouse. Seriously. As if you need an excuse to delight in some frozen desserts. Yes I hope this post tantalizes your tastebuds! Its the middle of summer and scorching hot. I have been a lower back pain sufferer since my early twenties. The problem is I am very large chested and it just kills my back having to hold a good posture. I have tried many things through the years but nothing has ever helped me until Moji came into my life. Let me show you what Moji does…

The Moji is a portable system you can wear that uses heat and cold therapy to ease your lower back pain. I ordered a Large for myself since I tend to wear two layers of clothing I didn’t want it to be too small. A bonus is that it fits my hubby just barely. They are working on the XL version

You put the dark one, grey side up, in the microwave at 30 second intervals but no more than 2 minutes total. Then there are velcro lines inside the back of the belt that grip to the black side and it sticks there! When you want cold (the silver one), simply take it from the freezer and attach. It comes with a bag to store your cold cell too.

I can tell you without a doubt I use this everyday. Not that I have really bad pain everyday but its just such a treat! And because I have a crappy computer chair right now I often have sciatic pain but the Moji just loosens that area up for me so I am not in writhing pain from it. I love this piece of genius! It helps my back tremendously (and hubby’s too and he has back pain a lot!)

My daughter loves butterflies. Absolutely adores them. She had been begging for a couple months to get the butterflies from the commercial. I finally gave in and got in contact with them and the great people at Insect Lore were delighted to send us a kit. They sent a Butterfly habitat, 5 live caterpillars, instructions, a laminated posted showing the stages of development and a set of plastic figures in various stages of development. They shipped very fast too. They needed to be fast, its live insects after all.

The first day there wasn’t a lot of movement from them, they were kind of just settling in. But by day two there was silk and movement, a little eating. Its really hard to explain but I couldn’t take my eyes of them it was so fascinating. They come in a sealed jar and you don’t do anything but watch, all the food they need is in the jar. They will eat and actually poo but there is nothing you need to add or do, only watch and enjoy watching them grow, which is really pretty fast!

After about 7-10 days they grow so much from eating so much its about time for them to crawl up to the top to form a chrysalis. I will say by the time ours went up almost all the food was gone and there was a lot of caterpillar poop in the cup.It was kind of gross. but I though it was neat to see the long caterpillars crawling!

I had the fortune of watching them go to the top and hang down and form the hook shape. It was so exciting! In about 12 hours all the caterpillars had taken position and the “shells” were forming and starting to harden. When this happened it was time to transfer them to the habitat!

You just pin the paper to the side of the habitat and wait about another week. When they first form they are light brown, then the colors of them turn black, and right before they are about to emerge they turn nearly clear and you can see the wing colors. I was so lucky because I caught the birth of one of them!

Now you can get some fresh flowers and sprinkle water sweetened with a few tsp. of sugar. They love carnations! After a couple days of watching them its time to let them go. They might be timid and not want to go at first so you may have to nudge them. In our case we had to nudge a couple but there was one beautiful butterfly that didn’t want to leave. She stuck on my daughter’s finger for a long time!

Our thoughts: I think this in an AMAZING learning tool. I can openly admit I probably enjoyed the process more than anyone else. I was the caterpillar babysitter so I spent a lot of time watching them. A couple of things you need to be aware of. The cups they grow in are going to gross you out, they get filled with a lot of caterpillar poop and silk. It looks gross when its mostly poop there but you will know its near time for them to change. Also after they emerge they hang on the side of the habitat but look like they are bleeding. This is normal but it also looks gross. And because it takes a lot of patience waiting for the process this product is geared for older kids. My toddler would have definitely ruined it if I left it anywhere near his reach. But we loved it so much we are thinking about buying the huge pavilion that does 10 butterflies and doing the process all over again! It was really neat!

Sometimes its very hard to get kids to eat enough fruits and vegetables. For my 21 month old especially he needs to poop every day or he is grumpy! I have to say that I was blessed with pretty nice lips. Not too big, not too small, and look great with lipstick or gloss. I tend not to wear either often because hubby doesn’t like kisses with stuff on my lips. But for the times I want to just put the finishing touch on my makeup I go for glosses. I loooooove cloth diaper reviews. I love the fact I get to share the soft squishyness with my readers. I keep it simple when I say I use cloth because it costs less for me, its better for my kid’s skin AND its cute! I’ve done a few reviews and though I have a great stash of work horse bumGenius diapers, they are a bit too bulky for a toddler running around in the day time, so I am been looking for trim fitting pockets for Aiden for daytime. What is my take on the diaper? I love how absorbent it is and how nicely it fits. I don’t use fleece liners so we use our diapers as pockets. I can’t stand the feeling or the thought of feeling moisture around Aiden’s skin but with pockets that is not a problem. And with the fleece the poo rolls right off so its easy. AND I don’t have to pull the insert out which is a huge plus. If I could afford it I would want to have at least half if not more of my stash to be AppleCheeks. I am serious. And the reason is because of the versatility of the system. AND it uses bamboo which I have found to be a lot more absorbent with Aiden. He is not a heavy wetter but there are some pockets we have that he leaks in. He doesn’t ever leak in bamboo! And the trim fit, I just can’t believe how trim this fit is with a folded insert! I Love it!

There is a special place in my heart for the folks at Learning Curve. They have worked with me before and I love the products the have. And they are serious about making like easier for me. Learning curve asked me if I would review the new .miSwivel Feeding Chair and I said sure! After all I love saving SPACE and this is one of those items that does that.

What it does is not only swivel around with the pull of the lever, but it also tilts back/reclines for younger kids, without having to reposition the entire chair. It doesn’t stop there! You can remove the back for an older child and also take the tray off completely and it becomes a booster! It had the built in safety features you would expect, straps to hold it to a chair and a shoulder harness system. Aiden is 21 months old and I left the seat back on and use the harness.

He thought it was an amusement ride. We have another booster seat with a tray and its not as big as this one, it sites lower, and doesn’t have a cup holder. You also can’t see it but there is a smiley face in the plastic cover. And yes that cover is dishwasher safe! SWEEEET!

This is the lever located on the front of the base. This lever you can push to either side and grab the seat to swivel it. It really is useful when you are sharing the responsibility of feeding between two people as they can swivel the seat to face them very easily and smoothly.

This is the recline lever in the back of the seat base. Pull up and them grab the seat and get it at the right angle you want it. For us, straight up and down was just not working so we reclined it one notch. It locked in place and we were ready to go. This feature would be absolutely perfect for an infant.

I wish I had bought something like the .miSwivel before I wasted money on the booster seat we had before. This seat bigger than the other booster but also boasts a lot more features. It really is more like a space saving high chair as opposed to a booster.I love it, and its what I need in my small space. And my nephew to be can us it too!
