This is one of those serendipity types of photos. I tried to photograph the band playing at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago when I was there a couple weeks ago. Note to self, try and photograph before you’ve had a few drinks. Then again I think the effect is cool.

My son’s 14th birthday party was this past Sunday and I wanted something besides cut melon. Everyone loved it!
I find it amazing each time I pick a piece of food from my garden that started as a little seed. This radish is one example and its surrounded by wild berries that grow from a tree in our yard and strawberries, that are doing very well!
Went to Chicago for the first time in 20 years and loved it!
