Do you see the calculator at the top of that heap? That thing was $111 and the math book that goes with it was $114. For someone who hates math, half of what I spent on books went right to it. Crazy huh? I still have to get some school supplies but I am ready for class. Need some pencils and things and I just happen to be expecting a review of Carolina Pad stuff and they have a discount too that I will share!
Did you know there are GREAT discounts out there for students for software? Microsoft has Windows 7 and Office 2007 each for under $70. That is 90 percent off retail! SWEET! You have to be a student though and prove it but its legit!

Good Luck! College is a great investment to make! I teach college students and I LOVE it. I am so thankful I have a job I love doing what I love. The textbooks are way overpriced though. A lot my students find great deals on used textbooks at http://www.half.com (an eBay company). You may want to try there. I hope you have a great semester.

whoa! $111? good thing my brother still kept his calculator for my benefit. hehe. but yeah, i cringe on the amount of money I spend on my books. just have to keep reminding myself that I’m working on a long term target. whew! can’t wait to sow what I’ve reaped
