Wordless Wednesday – I Love You

I got my lovely mixer that I won from Cat last Thursday on my anniversary but just used her for the first time yesterday on my Banana Nutella Whoopie Pies. I have named her Rosie the Riveter, after the hard working chick on the posters that worked her tail off during World War II. She will be used heavily, and I love her already!

Did you know that the lady that was the inspiration for the Rosie the Riverter poster passed away the other day? Anyway, bizarre fact that popped into my head. Lucky girl for winning a Kitchen Aid, I’m jealous!!

I wore out a heavy duty stand mixer & we bought a Kitchenaide hand mixer to replace it years ago. I don’t do the baking I did when the boys where home… but the Kitchenaide was the only one with the power hubby wanted for mashing taters, LOL!

What a beautiful addition to your kitchen! I can see why you love it! And the fact that you won it makes that an even sweeter gift! I wanted a red one when I got mine but my husband wanted to get a pro model and we didn’t find it red. I love ours! Thanks so much for hosting WW today! I look forward to many wonderful recipes from your new friend. Have a great day, Candace
