Excited for 2010 Winter Olympics?
I know I am for sure! The winter Olympics are the coolest ones in my book. The ski jumping alone is worth popping the popcorn. The Aerials are so cool too. But my all time favorite has always been and will always be Figure Skating. Ever since I was young and had a little black and white TV, I never ever missed any Figure Skating events. This year I am SO happy we finally have a nice clear HD tv so the colors and picture will be phenomenal. My son Colton is extremely excited for the speed skating, particularly Apollo Ohno. My daughter is like me and like the skating but she is partial to the spins, she thinks they are the bomb diggity. And Greg loves the ski jump as do I . The chinese usually “own” it but I love watching. I think this year we will check out Shaun White on the snowboard too.

I love the Winter Olympics but the Summer Gymnastics are my favorite. I do love watching the figure skating though, especially the couples.

I’m looking forward to snowboarding this year. There’s a guy from my very small hometown competing in SBX. Keep an eye out for him and cheer for a fellow Michigander – his name is Nick Baumgartner.
