A New Era

That’s my boy! He never had a Kindergarten graduation, not sure why but his school at the time just didn’t have one. A couple days ago my Colton graduated from 6th grade. His school held the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. He graduated to a new building, the Jr-Sr. High School, which is 7-12th grade. I like this because the school is a mile from our house and he can ride his bike if he wants. He’s a pretty tall kid but he will be a small one compared to the High Schoolers. I hope that he keeps his sense of purpose and his good attitude. Its really hard not to get into trouble at his age. He didn’t escape from trouble entirely this year either. Kids will be kids and for the most part he went through the year with no real battle scars. I can’t believe in 6 more years I will be attending his real graduation. Time has gone by much too fast!
