Cha-Cha-Changes!

It is a new year and well, I need a new look for my blog but also, I need to blog MORE!!! It has been crazy for the last bit with college but I have also hit a wall with ideas. The problem started when I tried to fit in to what I thought was a mold to be a real food blogger. The most successful ones are the kind that don’t contain posts that aren’t related to food. I just am not that person, We don’t have a one income life and well, food is a major part of my life but not my whole life. I have children, young ones even so I can’t just forget about them. And they are my life, and with my husband, they shape me into the crazy, adorable awesome person I am. The one people used to love getting a glimpse of when I used to post a lot more about random personal stuff.

So with the new year I am making changes. I am still working with companies but no longer willing to take on anything that doesn’t help me because though I love to blog, it is my job and I need to get paid for the work and time. I am going to post a lot more about food, maybe not always recipes but discoveries, news and science, and way more photos. I am making my photography business a reality this year and hope to get full time work in the fall for food photography!

I am also getting a professional design finally for this place. I have been okay but I am ready to go to the next level and just don’t know enough about coding to make it how i want it. I will have a new theme probably by March, I am very excited!

So stay tuned for a return of the old, fun me who blogged for herself and not deadlines. 2013 is the year I am going to be back on top!

    Personally, I love blogs that aren’t 100% food, but some food because well, I’m hungry and I like to pin stuff. ;)

      I hear you Cat, I too love the food porn! I am designing something that will hopefully display my food really well and also lend itself nicely to other types of posts. But I want my recipes and food area to literally scream YUMMY and inspire. That’s my plan anyway lol.
