One of my resolutions in the new year is to get out of the house more and go to events. ESPECIALLY with the kids. Its hard to go to all the different city websites and find out whats going on but lucky for me I was able to find upcoming Michigan Events by going to this new site with event calendars for cities all over the US but also other countries!! How cool is that? It goes beyond a community page like for my city’s page and is like one big event calendar for all over! There is also a virtual event section as well. Virtual is good for people like me who live in the middle of nowhere LOL!
There isn’t anything listed in the Lansing section yet but I am sure it will be filled soon 
I have to admit I was nosy and saw what events were happening in New York city, and giggled at the dating events. Also I wish I lived closer to Detroit because Kevin Smith is going to be there and I’d love to catch him live. If I could get hubby a trench coat he’d be a dead ringer for Kevin Smith in the Mallrats and Dogma movies as Silent Bob. I love silent Bob!
