My friend Lizz had her first baby boy about 3 weeks ago. So cute! I got to thinking about a few things. When I had my Aiden 4.5 months ago it seemed to drag. I didn’t mind it though. I was excited for the age where he was bigger, could smile, play, and eventually sit on his own. I thought it would be forever until all that happened.

Then Lizz has her son and seeing him made me realize HOW MUCH Aiden has changed! And how much he loves being in our family and how we love him. He has the biggest smile and is the happiest baby i have ever met. It was rough in the beginning. He didn’t sleep well until recently. Its nice to sit back and reflect that we have made it this far, and he is so healthy and happy. do I miss the newborn snuggles? Sometimes. But I like my slobbery kisses from him now much more.
