1. Netbook. Its becoming increasingly apparent I need some sort of highly portable device for college. If its not a netbook then its got to be a smaller laptop that can run photo editing software!

2. Personal Organizer. Digital, paper, it doesn’t matter. We have to not only track our family crap but all kinds of college crap too like quizzes and tests!

3. Cell Phone. I have a Verizon pre-paid that is probably going to be out of minutes soon. I use it only as needed, no texting, just call to say i am on my way home since the college is an hour away. I’d love an iPhone but since I am a SAHM I can’t afford a contract.

4. Gift Cards for Coffee!

5.  A kindle and subscription to ebook service

6.  A portable drive, like a Seagate or other high volume hard drive.

7. Photography equipment. I am taking classes. Canon or Nikon, neither sway me and I want to try both. I have  a Nikon d50 so unless the Canon fairy contacts me I will stick with what I know!

8. Webcam and wireless accessories.

9. Tons of school supplies! I can never have enough pens, pencils and notebooks!

10. Support. It takes a LOT to go back to school after ten years. I am learning things I didn’t even learn in High school. I have a very good memory and never forget a thing and I can honestly say that there is math I have never seen. I need my husband to be my rock. I need everyone around me to encourage me because I can’t survive without it. I don’t like taking time away from my kids to do this but I have to. Its FOR them. When I do eventually graduate, because its a health care field, I will be able to get a job quickly. Thankfully Aiden will be in school by then. As for the hubby he is starting college in January himself and he will be gone more than me. Somehow I think he will see my sacrifice differently when he has to put in the time. Its hard to balance it all!

And with this post I announce that this awesome blog has found its niche and I will be focusing more on college and photography. I am probably going to cut back on Toy reviews, except maybe for Aiden or if its something I just love. I don’t want to have a lot of little stuff I want you guys to have unique stuff to read about and hopefully win. This also means I am focusing on reviews of techy gadgets that help me as a college mommy. This could be cameras or laptops, or anything really.

If there is a product that helps me get through my college courses and still maintain some sanity for my family you better believe that I am going to post it here. And there aren’t really blogs that have mommy/student/photographer as the passions of the writer. I don’t have to be all of those all the time or even one of them at a time but those three things are my passion right now. I am so glad to have you all with me and I hope some more moms in college contact me. I know I am not the only mommy blogger going to school
