Waterlicious Review

I will admit I am not a water drinker. I can’t stand it. Its got to be flavored. My kids like water though. It took my daughter a long time to just be happy with water. I occasionally like to treat them with juices or chocolate milk. But I want to make sure they are getting the proper nutrition and not too much sugar. Waterlicious contacted me and asked me to try their water.
From their site:
The first vitamin and fiber-enhanced, healthy, flavored water designed specifically for the taste profile of children.
Waterliciousis specially formulated for children, fills the void for healthy alternatives to high-calorie, high-sugar sodas and concentrated juices.
Waterlicious is the first children’s water product to include fiber. Fiber has been identified as key element in preventing child obesity.
Waterlicious contains the essential vitamins for healthy growth and development of strong bodies. These vitamins include B3, B5, B6 and B12. “B” vitamins have been found to relieve stress and have a calming effect on children while strengthening their immune systems and other vital organs. In addition, the product has Calcium and Vitamin C further increasing its health benefits. Waterlicious contains all-natural flavors
Waterlicious contains Crystalline Fructose, a natural fruit sugar that is slow to absorb and does not adversely affect bloodsugar levels. Many other children’s beverages including soda contain High-Fructose Corn Syrup and artificial sweeteners that are known to be an unhealthy.
Sounded good to me, some vitamins added and less sugar than juice! Waterlicious sent us some Soccer Berry to try…and they included a cool T-Shirt!
According to my kids, this water is good. They weren’t flipping over excited because, well, its water! I tried it and its pretty good as far as flavor, its not overly sweet nor is it overly flavored. It reminded me of Capri Sun. But the difference is this particular water has good vitamins and even fiber added to make it healthier. And naturally sweetened too. My kids didn’t bounce off the walls. I would buy this stuff over regular juice. I would drink this instead of plain water and I am an adult! Being a frugal mom I would still pay just a little more for this water only because it has added vitamins and its made for kids. There are vitamin waters out there for adults sure but I am not giving those to my kids.
