I Admit It, I love Fashion!

I am one of those people who watched America’s Next Top Model. I do love the fashions! Not that I am the shape of a model but I LOVE when I see flowing dresses. I think it would be AMAZING to go to Fashion Week to check out all the new designer clothes! I am mostly wearing frumpy mom clothes because I am way more apt to buy my kids designer duds than me. I think this year I am going to be different and actually make an effort to buy myself nice clothes that fit and aren’t sweats and comfy pants. There really is no excuse for my being frumpy I just need to make an effort! And back to the subject of Fashion Week, how cool would it be to get that front row seat next to all the celebrities! I could have my mug in there pictures, LOL! Really I just love watching those huge flowy gowns come down the runway wigth the wind going through the material. Some clothes are just made so perfectly to flow. I’d love to have a dress like that for blogging conference dinners! And I will also admit I like to watch the bloopers of when the models trip. Its sick I know but there is nothing more funny to me than someone tripping!

I was just thinking the other day I need to make an effort to get outta the PJs and loungewear and into some real clothes too. The problem is, I gained some weight and had to end up buying bigger jeans…then I lost a few pounds so the bigger jeans sag off of me and I’m still not fitting in the skinny jeans (sighhhhh). And I can’t justify spending the money on clothes that are “in betweens”. Ugh!!

I always look at the fashion designer things and think “Ack! I’d never wear that!” lol I am a plain Jane kind of girl I guess. My big weakness is shoes…

I am plain jane too because I tend to buy HUGE shirts to try and hide my extremely ample chest and it just makes me look even worse. I feel like if I have a baggy shirt then maybe the focus won’t be just on my boobs, ya know? I think they should have a separate fashion week for practical fashions. We want to look cute but not edgy, and we are in between sizes most of the time, not a size zero!

Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the written material on your site. But I am utilising Flock on a machine running version 8.x of Ubuntu and the look and feel aren’t quite proper. Not a serious deal, I can still essentially read the articles and look for for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to use with the config I’m running. Keep up the good work!

I actually use flock myself and it works fine but I am running Windows 7. I don’t think a lot of people even know about Ubuntu (I do because aI am a tech geek) but I think your viewing it strange might be because of some of the plugins on the site. Also the nav bar is mostly for info about the site and stuff and I do not have a list of my categories in my sidebar. Perhaps that would help?

(and per the usual I will most likely change the theme again soon!)
