Anka High Chair Review

I am a mama who likes to save space. But I also like to keep style. I bought a folding high chair for Aiden that was plastic and it broke the first day I had it. You have never seen a more ticked off mama. I was upset for quite a while. Next I tried one of those booster seats with the tray. It worked ok but the tray set very low and it was small. What we needed was a highchair that folds small for space but is rugged and stylish. We needed a great wooden high chair. Enter Anka by Scandinavian Child.

I was delighted to be chosen to review this great high chair. My biggest worry was that it may still be too big for my needs but it wasn’t. It was very easy to put the chair together.I chose the Espresso finish. Its gorgeous!
They include a special shaped tool that works on all the adjustments. You can adjust the feet platform and you can adjust the bar in the middle to go closer to the baby. The tray slides on with a pressure lever. super simple. To fold it you just pull the lock in the bar on the legs (there is only one lock) and fold. Turn the chair around and you will see two round pegs. You use those pegs to hang the tray on in the folded position.
For my guy we had to move that foot platform up and because he was a chub, we had to move the middle bar back to the original position. Now the problem we run into is that with the bar in there and the extra wood bar on the tray, it catches on the wood and you can’t move the tray in closer. So you either live with the tray being apart from the baby a little or you take out the “booster” bar. I can actually get my man in and out of the chair without taking the tray off but now that he is older and messier we are taking the booster bar out and only using the bar built into the tray. It can take a try to make sure your holes are lined up when you make adjustments but its pretty simple.
My favorite things about the chair? The plastic cover that is easily washed in the dishwasher, and I love the fabric on the seat cover!

Aiden just likes the food and the atmosphere, pieces of flair are optional. And Alyssa likes feeding him!

The Anka high chair retails for $180. You can buy an Anka High Chair at one of the online retailers and they sell them in some select stores, both of which you can find on THIS page. Thank you so much Scandinavian Child for providing this wonderful high chair for review. Its a great product! Sturdy , enviormentally friendly and stylish!
