The Baby Dipper is a specially designed bowl that is slanted towards the front of the bowl to keep the food from going all over the bowl, like traditional bowls do. i always hated chasing the food around the bowl to get it on the spoon. Baby Dipper sent me a bowl and spoon set to try with Aiden. Aiden has been a self feeder for a few months but he’s not yet good with a spoon and a bowl. We are working with the Baby Dipper to help him learn to feed himself with a utensil. This bowl is triangular in shape too unlike traditional round bowls. See the slant in the picture below? That is the smartest feature. Keeps the food right where you want it!
Now he is just a baby and still likes to play with his food so when there is something messy, like pudding, its hard to keep his hands out of the bowl. The base of the bowl is heavy though so its harder for him to pick it up and spill it. I like that feature. And the spoon is comfortable for me to hold and the curve makes it easier for him to hold.
I really like this bowl and don’t really have any drawbacks to report but I would suggest making a girl color version and a unisex color version. If I had a baby girl again I would want pink. My husband suggested adding suction to the bottom as well but we haven’t had much of a problem with him dumping the bowl. Overall I like this product and I could see Aiden feeding himself some macaroni and cheese out of this bowl in a few months!

I really like this product because it helps with self-feeding and I have never liked trying to spoon feed babies so the sooner they are able to self feed, the better

I like the unique design.
I love that it has a Non-slip base helps prevent sliding. This was a huge problem when my older children were learning to feed and this would be a big improvement for my son once he starts feeding. Thanks!

My favorite part is the non-slip base since my daughter can push bowls right off the tray easily!
