Bumbleride Indie – Review

By · Leave a Comment

Last month I was absolutely stunned to find out I won the Bumbleride Indie Giveaway from The-Not-So-Blog. We didn’t have a really nice, sturdy, lightweight stroller before this. We had an old dusty dinosaur in the garage. Its an old version Graco that is at least 12 years old and heavier than my 6.5 year old. It was too big for the trunk of the car and too bulky to use so we didn’t. I couldn’t take breaking the wheels again trying to go over curbs. I sought out any stroller giveaways I could but heavily entered Bridgette’s giveaway for the Bumbleride. I’d wanted one since before I had Alyssa. They are so nice. And fate smiled upon me and I was chosen the winner! I won the Indie model and I chose the Ruby color. I have wanted a red stroller since about 2004!

The stroller arrived and it was so easy to put together, just pop the wheels on, open er up, adjust the 5 point harness. I put aiden in and he loved it. I loved that the harness is opened with one push of a button. The brakes are a bar across the width of the bottom in the back.

The seat reclines with a pinch of the stopper and letting the “belt” go through it up or down. Then to secure it just stop pinching it and it lock the seat position. The foot rest is completely adjustable and the handlebar has many heights for different sizes. I like that it sits away from me a little so I don’t hit my feet on the back. It is a lightweight jogger. I haven’t tried it yet and it just got wintry here so maybe this Spring.

Our first real test was taking Aiden around Rockford, Michigan where my sister in law has a photo studio. We did Christmas portraits and i had her take a couple of the stroller too! The stroller handled like a dream. EASILY went over the cobblestone sidewalks and streets and also no problem on the curbs. I love that this thing is all terrain and it rides so SMOOTH. It folds up nicely too and fits in the truck of our car easily. Its got a great big storage basket and the sun shade is bigger than normal so it blocks the sun more. Hands down without a doubt the best stroller I have ever had the privilege of using!
