Discovery Toys – Review

Are you looking for a different kind of toy this season? I have to balance the noise level of 3 kids worth of toys and try to sneak an educational toy in there too. If I can do that this Christmas then I will have met my goals. I had the opportunity to try a toy from Discovery Toys. Discovery Toys is a company that runs by representatives , kind of like Avon or Mary Kay. You get in touch with your local distributor and then you order from him or her! Sounds good to me!

Discovery toys sent me the FLIP FLOP FACES EMOTIONS IN MOTION…

The concept of the toy is teaching kids emotions. They have beanbags that say the emotion and bowls with faces that match them.  This toy is aimed at the ages from three years to preschool. Unfortunately my kids ages are 6.5 and 1 year old. The beanbags are not suitable for the baby and the concept of the emotions and playing a game with that part was boring for my daughter. She is too old for this toy. However Aiden loves to play with the bowls and Alyssa will make up her own games. She will toss the bean at the matching coloe bowl to get it to turn over and “swallow” the bag. She thinks its fun so I am happy with that.

Discovery Toys has so many fun and educational toys for kids. They are of good quality too in my testing. And yes, I did throw a couple bean bags at my husband and it was fun! I would definitely buy from Discovery Toys in the future. I think this company would be exceptionally well suited for home schooling moms!

To find the distributor closest to you, go to the Discovery Toys website www.discoverytoys.com and click at the top of the page “Find a Consultant.” Most consultants have websites with their phone numbers listed, you can contact them online or call them if you have any questions!
