Growing up, my favorite summer activity next to swimming was playing volleyball. We would get the cheap set or even use our clothesline as a net. We always had a HUGE game going at family reunions. CSN sent me a Franklin Sports Volleyball Set for review.
We had it up and ready for Colton’s birthday party. We actually had it up by the 4th of July! I didn’t pay attention to the description about the dimensions and was shocked when it spanned 30 feet wide! It was then I realized, aside from the great quality of the metal poles, this was a regulation size net. It has hooks and clips for easy net attachment and spikes for the poles, which do not go in the ground.
I would say make sure the grass you are driving the steaks is not soggy in any way and it won’t hold well in sand either. It would need sand spikes for that. Overwall we are really happy with out set, its a nice one that we will keep for a lot of years! We might get a badminton set of rackets and birdies to switch it up. I have to say its a big workout playing. My son loves it!
