GreenSmart Laptop Sleeve Review

GreenSmart has come up with a great laptop sleeve that is made of a substance called “Neogreen” which is essentially all the physical attributes of Neoprene but much more consumer and earth friendly. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber that is used in bags and other things but you have to use a strong bond to hold it together because it is impervious to other chemicals. That strong glue sends off nasty smelling chemicals. Neogreen is made with 25% less petroleum and uses 25% less to manufacture. I was sent a sample for use with my 15.4 inch laptop and it fit perfectly. I had been looking for a way to cover it but not have to buy a seperate bag for school just for the laptop. The sleeve protects it the way i need to without adding weight in my already heavy tote for college. I like that its simple in design. I think my husband wants to get one though because black and green are his two favorite colors to mix together. I also like that its more earth friendly. I am trying to shrink our carbon footprint and this definitely helps even if its just a little. I think the ONLY thing I would change on the laptop sleeve is to add a sturdy carrying handle. Because if i was home and could carry it that way instead of in the crook of my arm it would make it easier at home. I would make a pink sleeve too. But then again I am biased and I love pink!. I think I would like to try the laptop jacket from GreenSmart!
