My best friend from high school recently got married. My husband was the videographer and I ran the rehearsal and the wedding itself, and helped out a bit at the reception. It was a beautiful wedding, very busy day, but the one thing I remember most is giving her the big wedding gift at her bridal shower.
My friend is a massive wine lover. She is not a lush, she just enjoys wine, her kitchen is entirely decorated in an italian wine type of theme. Just before the shower I had a company called Etching Expressions reach out to me on Twitter and ask me to review a bottle for them. What perfect timing and perfect gift!
I was skeptical, after all deep in my mind I thought they were just going to paint something. I was extremely wrong. They carved into the the glass, a real etching with difinitive lines and painted, and engraved the info. They also filled it with a Cabernet Sauvignon wine! It was breathtaking to look at. And when she opened it she gasped and was so surprised!
She made the bottle a decoration on the gift table at her reception and later we had it chilled on ice and they cracked it open. I can’t believe how nice the bottle really was I couldn’t stop feeling the engraving! As for my friend she absolutely loves it and it is being used as a decoration in her kitchen! It looked lovely at the reception!
