“Sweet” Office Essentials – Review

There are those of us that type, blog, work, at a desk instead of on the couch. I use a desk myself because its easier when I am home. There is also the sector of people who are bored to death with the visual appearance of the desk, so boring, almost reminding the user of primary school. Why not add a little bit of fun to your work time with some fun accessories?

Brands Unlimited sent me a USB powered M&M Desk Fan and USB Hub. I have been a fan of the M&M characters for a long time and was delighted when these two guys arrived at my door.

I plugged in the fan first and there is just a small switch on the front. Its not a powerful fan and it is kinda loud, as in, if your office is really quiet I wouldn’t use it there. But I have a laptop at home that runs hot because its a gaming machine and this fan kept it from getting too warm because it helped the fan in the laptop to move the warm air away. My 20 month old stares at it when its on and gets upset when I turn it off LOL. I like it, wish it was more quiet but its a neat little gadget.

Don’t tell the red guy but I have always loved yellow more, hehe. This is a cute and colorful USB hub. I plugged it into the laptop and then plugged my mouse in there on the far right and then the usb fan is the red cord. It almost looks like a jumbled mess of wires but what it really is, is that he is “working” on the broken wires. I think its adorable. There is a red light that comes on next to his foot when the unit is in use. I’ve been using it for about a week now with no problems at all.

How can you not have a little fun with these guys on your desk? Perhaps you can add the desk lamp to the collection too!
