Its nearly party time, and time for the cake preparations! When I wanted to make an awesome cake I headed to the one site I knew that had the best ideas and products for making a cake and that is Wilton! Not only do they have ideas and products but they have tips and tricks for each cake idea!

Not only do they tell you what you need to make this cake but they give you the instructions!
I asked Wilton if they wanted to be the cake stuffs supplier for Colton’s birthday party and they loved the idea. They sent me supplies…

I hope I can do them proud! Please stay tuned for another post of me showing my results! I am a bit scared but Wilton sent me directions on the cake right down to how to pipe the people figures!

As for decorating the cake, Wilton is the expert here, follow there wonderful recipes and instructions and you will have a great cake. also don’t get upset if your cake is not like the picture, do your best and have fun doing it.

You could make a playground using chocolate cake as the “dirt” and green icing with coconut shreads as the grass! Put your child’s favorite character on it and there you go!
