Micralite FastFold Superlite Stroller Review

By · 12 Comments

When I think about strollers there are two different styles to think about. Light and fast, and comfy and rugged. I have a stroller that is comfy and rugged, all terrain. Its also not small when its folded and its not as light as it could be. It takes up the whole trunk of the car too. The Micralite FastFold Superlite Stroller is an answer to my prayer for a good lightweight stroller!

Here is specs from the site:

  • Seat sits upright or reclines for relaxation
  • All-terrain pneumatic rear wheels absorb bumps
  • Shade for sun protection

Easy to Use

  • Patented easy-fold design
  • Stands upright when folded
  • Precision maneuverability with swiveling front wheels
  • Lightweight at 14 lbs.
  • Storage basket under the seat
  • Lockable front wheels swivel for maneuverability
  • Easy-grip handles are adjustable for comfort
  • Includes air pump for rear wheels

Safe

  • 5-point adjustable safety harness
  • JPMA Safety Certified

We were sent a stroller for review. I thought it would be hard to put together but literally all you have to do is put the wheels on and they go on easily with just a turn and then a click and you are done. Its that simple! And the shade snaps on easily as well!

The tires on the back are air filled and there is a pump in the box as well. With the front tires being small this stroller is very maneuverable! Its light too, only 14 pounds!! It looks neat too. I definitely love it for my 22 month old! The storage basket is decent sized too and that’s a definite plus.

There is one lever to unlock:DSC_0297

And another lever you move down and up to set the seat in place, then one more lever that slides the seat from upright to reclining, and all levers move smoothly!

I really love this stroller its so easy to push, its lightweight and it folds so copactly. It opens in seconds literally. The only thing I don’t like about this stroller is that there is no foot rest. Aiden doesn’t seem to mind. He will pull his legs up and criss cross if he wants to and he does a lot. He has cried when we try to take him out of this stroller. He will ask to sit in it to watch his tv program. HE loves this stroller too!

Buy It: The Micralite FastFold Superlite Stroller retails for $319.95, but you can get one on sale right now for $271.96 with FREE SHIPPING from the Micralite Store!

  9. Z boy mama says:

would u be able to take this stroller on a plane, is it considered an umbrella stroller?1

  10. Amy T. says:

Very informative review, Candy! Micralite certainly is not yet well known in the States, so every review helps. It’s such an interesting design, don’t you think? Very triangular. It looks way more complicated to use than it really is.

@Z boy mama – it is considered an umbrella stroller because of the vertical fold and the “umbrella-like” handles. It’s just not in the traditional umbrella stroller style! :)

    • Candy says:

I would almost consider it an umbrella because it does fold compactly BUT its not near the thin compact of the run of the mill umbrella’s. And yes I would definitely take it on the plane!
