I decided to test this one out against my 7 year old daughter. We quickly set up a quick game, meaning the first one to get a monopoly wins. I had to explain to my daughter what that means is when you basically bankrupt a player by building and upgrading. The gameplay went faster because you can skip the scenes of the pieces moving. My poor daughter ended up in jail twice. I absolutely enjoyed the animations from Chance and Community Chest. It made the game so much fun. I am proud to say that I WON the first time I played it. I bought the Yellow group, which includes Marvin Gardens. In this particular game mode you start with 3 properties and Park Place and Boardwalk were already taken. SO I decided to build build build. Every turn for the next five turns and a lucky pass of Go, I built my properties up. Its neat because when you buy a house or a hotel its animated and shows the house/hotel raising from the ground.

So I patiently waited for the one computer player (who coincidentally would NOT trade park place so my daughter could have it) to land on one of my awesome expensive properties and it happened and I broke him and I was the winner! Serves him right for not trading properties with my baby girl!

And you can play online too! I didn’t test that one right away given that you never know how long other players will take after hitting that build button. In all we spent about 36 minutes playing our first game and I really enjoyed it!
