Life’s A Swim! Nifty Nappy Swim Diaper Review

By · 7 Comments

I haven’t bought a pack of Little Swimmers since my oldest was a toddler and he’s now 13. Why? Because I began cloth with my 2nd child and found out that all disposable swim diapers do is hold back the poo from entering the pool. The pee still goes through. Cloth swim diapers are reusable and for the cost of maybe a couple packs of the disposable kind, you can have a swim diaper that you can wash and reuse over and over. Hello, money saver!

Nifty Nappy, one the hottest growing mom owned cloth diaper manufacturers, sent me a swim diaper in the cute crab print and also sent me a fitted cloth diaper, that I will be posting about next week. She let me choose the fabric and I fell in love with the crabs. The Swim Eaze swim diapers come in 2 sizes, small and large, to fit from birth to 40 pounds. And if you ask me, the designs are so much cuter than the cartoon characters on the disposable kind.

The outer is made with a knit or flannel of your choice, and there is a waterproof PUL layer, and the inside is soft microfleece which adds absorbency. Aiden is at the lower end of the Large size at about 24 pounds so I was scared that it would be too big but it really isn’t. The stitching is phenomenal too, the serging is perfect and I checked every inch.  I think I would get another swim diaper just in case Aiden had a poo but wanted to keep swimming.

I think Nifty Nappy is going to be a name thats spoken around this house more often. The workmanship is not only outstanding but Vilate is super nice to work with!

Buy It: You can get this great swim diaper, which retails for $16, and check out Nifty Nappy’s other wonderful diapers at Nifty Nappy, and find a retailer here!

The giveaway has been postponed until Vilate is settled in her new home, I apologize for the inconvenience!
