If you have a baby that’s just learning to walk or hasn’t been walking long, you don’t want to put them in hard sole shoes. Its better for them to be in a flexible shoe so they can feel the floor when they perfect their walking. I had to have shoes for Aiden right at the time he started walking simply because its freezing cold and I want his feet protected. I’ve had a couple of shoes on Aiden but these shoes, hands down are my favorite. They stay on easily and he doesn’t pull at them. He walks (starting to run) very easily in them. With these shoes on, he keeps socks on too so his feet are warm They are quality leather and these particular ones have velcro. I think they are the cats meow. He looks ADORABLE in them!
