Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set Review

By on August 20, 2010 2 Comments

Thomas has been a name in our house since my oldest was a very small child. As a matter of fact for three months sraight he was obsessed, wanting to watch the program every single day. Its a nice wholesome show so I had no problem. Now that boy is 13 we have a new little guy just starting his love for Thomas!

Learning Curve, a company I have talked about here before for their amazing amount of quality toys for younger kids, asked me if I would review the Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set. Of course I said yes!

This is a wooden start train set designed for kids 18 months and up. The roundabout station consists of the Tracktile, Maithwaite Station, Thomas, crossing gate, spinning cargo and two track connectors. Those connectors are what you will use to connect other sets to this one. Its on the larger side so I imagine the full set will be big. Thomas has a magnetic back and front to hook to other cars too. Aiden’s favorite? Hands down the crossing gate!

This is a great fun starter set for little ones to start their collection and love for Thomas. Even after all these years kids the world around love Thomas. I can easily see myself getting Aiden a set to add on for his birthday in October! This toy is definitely kid and mom approved :)

So glad Thomas is still popular. My son used to love him when he was younger, though he preferred Percy Engine!
