They are very comfortable. The strap can go behind the ankle as well. I had to do that whilst playing with the new volleyball set before I took this photo. I will be wearing these amazingly COMFORTABLE shoes during my baking production class at college this coming semester! If you were thinking about buying a pair I hope this review nudges you to get some. They are wonderful! Very well made too. My husband steals them all the time to wear around the house and I have to yell at him. Don’t tell anyone I told you that!
