Have you ever wanted to make pop (what we northerners call soda) at home? I have an unhealthy habit of drinking a lot of store bought pop and all that sugar…yikes! I had heard on the radio that there was an actual machine that makes the carbonated water and you add the flavor. I let it go for a while and forgot until I got into contact with the fine folks over at SodaStream. They sent me a Fountain Jet Starter Kit with a bunch of flavors to try. The machine comes with a cylinder of carbon dioxide and that goes right into tap water and then you add flavor and shake, seriously easy, fast, and FUN. You can get the starter kit for $99.95 on their site. I think its a PERFECT gift for people who like to entertain or especially tween and teen birthday parties. My kids love this thing. They had a blast trying different flavors. I made a video starring my kiddos showing how the machine works! Enjoy!
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that asks. The carbon tanks are a reasonable 21 dollars for refills and you exchange your old tank for recycling with the company. This product uses tap water so its environmentally friendly too!
