Aiden has only just started taking steps so its time to think about shoes! I didn’t want him learning to walk in really hard soled shoes so I knew I wanted him to have some softer soled shoes. See Kai Run offers a ton of different softer flexible soled shoes for little ones. They have the original Flex line and now they have a newer line called Smaller, catered to the smaller ones learning to walk. See Kai run asked me to choose any pair of shoes I wanted for Aiden to review and I chose the Smaller line Finley boots.

Why boots? That one is easy. Its about to get cold here in Michigan and I wanted boots to keep his feet warm! The shoes came in this adorable box!

I love the craftsmanship of these shoes. They aren’t made for heavy outdoor play like the Flex line but they still took great care in making these shoes. I love the faux fur lining.

I got a size 12-18 months based on what I thought Aiden’s feet size were + room for growth. They are a bit big on him. He didn’t like me putting them on at all. Probably because he has rarely worn shoes in his first year. He wanted them off so I had to take them off instead of taking his picture in them. But I am sure once he gets used to shoes a little more that I will have more pictures.

The soles of these shes are great too. They are made of soft suede and have non slip rubber pads but so allow for more contact with the floor. I am a huge fan of shoes that still let my babe feel the floor as he is learning to walk and these do great.

I would definitely recommend these shoes. They are fashionable and very well made. I wish they had these when Alyssa was smaller because the girl shoes are just too cute!
